Largest % Increase in Membership Prize!!!
The Alabama Recorder Association was chosen to win a prize from Courtly Music Unlimited, Inc. for the largest increase in membership during March's Play-the-Recorder Monty. Our prize is a set of Yamaha Soprano and Alto Recorders from Courtly Music. A big thank you to ARS for choosing us and to Richard and Elaine Henzler of Courtly Music Unlimited, Inc. for their generosity. We can't wait to start playing our new recorders!!!
Our second official rehearsal took place on Sunday, May 4th. We had four members in attendance, including two of our newest members.
We welcome Megan Kilgore and Mark Hixon to our group.

We had our first meeting on March 11th. We played favorite hymn arrangements from the 17th and 18th centuries. A good time was had by all.
